Papaya, IQ charts o.k. here. I'm particularily interested in NEM and ABX. I compared NEM and ABX a few days ago.

----P/E--P/Book--P/CashFlow--P/Sales--Ret.Equity--LTDebt/Cap
NEM 19.1--1.7-----5.9---------1.76-------9%--------42%
ABX 21.5--1.9-----13----------4.88-------8.2%------26%

NEM had 53 mil ozs. as of end of year, ABX had 50 mil ozs.

Would you be able to supply data as to their cost of production?

Thean, I asked this a couple days ago on the thread:
Re:ASA from baseline:
This publicly traded (closed-end) investment company invests over 50% of its assets in common shares (or securities convertible into common) of South African gold mining companies, and most of the remainder in other South African companies.

Do you know about or have any reason to be concerned about the "most of the remainder" securities? I'm interested.

Gold was in the news - print and television - everywhere today. Hope you're right and we do have retracement. So much news in one day.
