Gosh. So much for my logical deduction. Yamakita is not Japanese? Your SI profile shows you live in Tokyo and you like baseball:-) In addition, you attended UC Berkely, a great university with a large Japanese student population, if I remember correctly. Oh well.

Remember, the banks all copy each others mistakes, so Chase is not alone. BTW, Chase lost billions in the real estate crash of the '90's and so when the losses become visible, they become magnified in later quarters.

It's nice to see you are a diversified investor. Also, I see we both follow Mr. Pink.

Yamakita, I knew you lived in Tokyo. Is there a story behind your thread name? Does it mean something in particular? Just curious.
