Following are some rumors on the street. I've heard brocade laid off 25 people in marketing and production ( 20% of workforce ). Sequent took a lot of silkworms into inventory which are not moving because sequent's key customer boeing cut back on capital spending. Sqnt is not expected to order any new product for at least the next 2 quarters. Brocade have also lost the image of silicon vally superstar that is going to win all the oem business according to some people who deal with the oems. Brocade has also failed to deliver on many promises which has further hurt their credibility. Rumor is they have been forced to re-spin their asic. Don't treat these rumors as gosbels like Bullstroke's.
