Cavalry, bleach will kill the aids virus in vitro. So should we inject people with bleach? The problem is not how to kill a virus, it's how not to harm the rest of the body. Even "safe" over the counter drugs like aspirin still have side-effects, let alone aids drugs that make your hair fall out and kill all your white blood cells.

The rainforest is certainly a vast untapped pharmacy and should be protected and preserved for eternity. There is an entire group of medical researchers that do nothing but bring back plants from the rainforest and the deep sea to test for possible beneficial substances. George Petit is a good example. But to think that grinding up a few herbs and putting them into a cream will cure aids is not just far-fetched, as you've seen here on this thread, it's a criminal offense in the US if unproven therapies are used to separate desperate aids patients from their money.
