Yamakita, I don't think the banks are going under, just that they haven't seen the worst of it yet, and prices may go lower, making your LEAPS much affordable for you in the future. You know, buy low, sell high.

Maybe you have a better feel for this stuff living in Japan, but when I see almost $US 2 billion of debt that that will default, I wonder which banks are going to take the hit. That is a lot of yen, if the Japanese banks take a huge hit, they will likely default on loans they may have with American banks.

btw, I gave up my subscription to TSC a little while ago, so I can't pick Cramer's brain. Glad you are hedged, glad we could have an intelligent discussion about this, and glad it's you and not me.

:-)

I'm pretty loaded with ACRT too, and kicking myself for not getting some FP Wednesday. Best of luck.

Yamakita:

I recall seeing you post about AVNT. What is going on with the recent run-up. I can take a little heat since I am short from 27 but if this puppy is going to run much further, I am thinking of pulling the pin and getting out. Your thoughts please. TIA.
