I agree that closing these plants is no big deal. It was posted as news, some took it as good news, you took it as bad news. But really, it was just business as usual, and was inevitable. Older plants either get updated or closed. And these ones were old and out of date.

MU is an interesting stock to watch. Will they run out of money? Will the price rise high enough again for them to make money? Can they reduce costs enough to make money? Will demand for DRAM catch up with supply? Will plant closings cause supply to fall to the level of demand? Opinions change daily, as does the stock price.
