Todd,

New winners coming on strong. At the moment RDRT is stack bound. Can't make enough of them. Media guys just languish. I am still out and warming the bench.
Best,
Stitch

todd, still alive and kicking? I'm surprised an intelligent person like you would listen to Mike Murphy (CTSL). Murphy appears intelligent, but his stock recommendations, from what I've seen, are almost contrary indicators.

Haven't followed Murphy for quite a while, but while I did (I followed him on paper for a couple of years, but not closely), it was amazing how his top picks not only underperformed the market, they actually dropped in price in a rising market.

Regards,

Larry the Cheerful

PS: He also writes a newsletter on shorting stocks. I only heard a very few of his top ideas on shorting. But his shorts didn't appear any better than his longs. He recommended shorting Wellcome (the drug maker) just before Glaxo bought it. Then he said to just transfer the short to Glaxo.

You could get killed either way, following his longs, or following his shorts.
