Tony,

Thanks for that nice history of Compaq Computers. It actually made me feel nostalgic for my 1989 386. It was SO much better, SO much faster, SO much less likely to break down than the other models in use at my company -- and SO much more expensive.

You knew you'd made it at my company if your boss put a Compaq on your desk instead of a clunker. It was a badge of distinction.
