Philip,

Please allow me to suggest (before our friends on the "other" thread do) that your decision to post publicly on the CT thread a letter apparently from MBT to their clients was, can we say, a bit inappropriate. Some may find it unethical, but in any event, it is more likely to have the reverse effect from what you intended. I think that if you got that letter in private and if it was not intended for you directly, then you should not have posted it publicly. This is just my opinion, and I hope you don't receive a barrage of mail from those who might be offended.

Take hope, though, in the fact that there is so much criticism available here today on S.I. primarily because the market is rather comatose and there is little else to do but criticize our friends.

Bill

Regarding risk management:

I recently learned that SW Securities insures the cash pending investment in a trader's account only up to 100K. Their excess insurance policy which is intended to cover above and beyond SIPC maximums do not apparently extend to cash greater than 100k, but only to securities which exceed SIPC limits.
There are some brokerage firms such as E*trade who sweep this cash over into a money market. The cash is then converted to a security and is covered under the excess policy.

How does CyberTrader address this situation?

Does Cybertrader enable one to trade before and after market hours?

For trade executions, is there a "smart" execution system similar to "M B Trading"'s ARCA?
