Barrons'
What was the strongest market group last week? Gold stocks, which surged
26% in one of their biggest weekly moves ever. The mining shares rallied as
gold rose $15 an ounce to $290, helped by the dollar's fall against major
currencies. Gold stocks still are off 13% this year.
