Greenspan and Rubin to meet with Japanese finance minister tonight in San Francisco. This is a big deal. A one-shot chance to 'resolve' the differences of opinion between the leaders of the world's two largest economies. Likely result: 'constructive dialogue' which may translate to 'we agree to disagree'. This will not be good for U.S. equities. Of course if there is a major announcement the reverse will be true.

IMO only of course.

Best wishes all and good luck
