Has anyone ever considered suing the lawfirm? As a small stockholder in a number of companies that have been hit by these suits, I'm far more outraged by the damage done to the company by forcing them to devote resources to fighting an action that is nothing more than legalized extortion, rather than dedicating themselves to running the business I've decided to invest in.

I am not sure of the specifics of the complaint, but I do remember a FORE
class-action in which the lawyers got 33% of any settlement.

... and the remainder went to Costs, office expenses, copies, mailing, ... Shareholders get nothing, except a company with weaker finances.
