In the long run the inets will get valued on their fundamentals. In the short run they are valued on their dreams. Arguing the fundamentals makes good sense from the long-term perspective but it is not the primary factor driving these stocks. If you plan short-term based on long-term you may get burned and vise versa. What's holding the stock price up? Buyers and short covering - basic greed and fear. The fear factor is muted because speculators AREN'T focusing on the fundamentals. This is a trading stock, not a short-term short. If the stock moves up on further speculation to where the TA shouts SELL, or the pattern deteriorates, then it will become a short-term short again. Until then about the only thing you can count on is regular periods of volatility.

I expect some nervousness to come into the market towards the close today - we have probably seen the high and will see NZMA close down in anticipation of the long holiday weekend, IMO.
