They have every right to voice their opinions and to work towards changing laws they are not in agreement with. That is a basic right in America. and their are mountains of case law suporting that.
You seem to want to deny everyone's rights who doesnt agree with you, or dismiss it as senseless. I find that very shortsighted.

The religious right, do not give up basic freedoms because they are religious. You are free to belong to any relgious organizations and still enjoy the same basic rights as a private citizen. YOu may still belong to a religious organization and work towards changing any policy you want.
Your attempt to deny them of these rights, and the blanket name calling and assumptions you continually spout are much closer to tyranical rantings than you may care to admit. Once they breached the implied respect for the right to privacy upon me, then I am free to defend my right to privacy as I see fit. Including, (and not limited to), your so called "name calling" I do not view it name calling, it is simply an accentuation of how ridiculous and outrageous their ideology is. I dont need to, nor do I want to. Guilt is an emotion. You are responsible ultimately for your own emotions. Guilt is something you feel, not something inflicted on you. People can try to inflict it on you, but it is ultimately the individual who either feels or doesnt feel the emotion.
