Roy, the fund may accidentally have a rebound, but it would be an accident. The manager simply does not have the skill to punch his way out of a paper bag. But that's o.k. He owns the firm, so he won't be canned. -g-
I this case, I don't think his ideas were as bad as his skill in putting on and trading appropriate positions. I have also been killed on the metals, not to mention emerging markets and biotechs, but I held them in a small pct. of my total portfolio. And, to put it in perspective, my puts on the XAL have profits that are double my losses on my entire cap app portfolio. I think Stephens tried to trade non-traditional thoughts with traditional, mutual fund techniques, and got his head handed to him.

I wouldn't buy it.
