You make some very good points.

In very high end applications LSI has a market.

My point is that in the general ASIC market they are dead.

So their market is changing and going even more high end.

If they execute they can do very well, if they don't they will go out of business-and this also true for most other high-tech companies.

I agree an LSI/VLSI/IDTI merger would be great.

I would caution anyone on putting a large majority of their funds in ANY high-tech company, even if it looks incredibly "cheap". Hi-Techs are great, but be carefull to spread your risk.
