I'll let you know when the Bear is finished. It will take 2 weeks for me to Absolutely confirm it. I'm short almost every tech stock, financial stock, brokerage stock, money center bank stock. But my MO! There is no hope for C-Cube against the Grizzley Bear! No ONE, I say, No Reality in the UNIVERSE can stop the Bear here!

Hitachi used Compcore for their MPEG-1 camcorder. The same type of solution could be used to make a MPEG-2 codec. Hitachi never announced that they would develop a codec. Sony and NEC did. To make your own encoder, it could be as easy as taking 2Real and add features in microcode(software). Adding microcode to an existing chip, makes it different from the original, and you can claim that, "It's our own"?

Hitachi's codec sounds 2Real.
