Jan:

The 79.00 price point is very critical... It sits on the 89 day MA... A break below this area leaves no significant support until the 50.00 area... I think we'll see this area break in the next two or three trading sessions...

You were right and wrong at the same time - NZMA came under pressure about 30 min before the bell and then jumped up with about 15 min to go. This could have been a little manipulation or just innocent last minute buying by people who waited for it to pull back toward the close. The institutions and most large investors were "outa here" for the weekend by the time the surge happened. It should be interesting trading next week. I covered my puts this morning - got them at the low for the day on the quick move up to 90. I had some orders to buy back but it needed to get squashed a bit before those are likely to execute. I am hoping for another day or two like last TUE morning. In this type of nervous market it is a good idea put in some orders bottom fishing orders, spread out over several stocks you have picked so that a real disaster doesn't hurt you much. I "meant to do that" on Monday but waited until TUE after the good pickings were already gone. Oh well, the "big fish got away" but their were still plenty of small ones. I'll have some low-ball orders in by the open on TUE.
