It's darn near impossible to argue constitutional law with someone who has such a non-linear view of how this constitution of ours is supposed to work.

The federal government doesn't require that states comply with their rules. It only requires compliance if you want access to federal money. If the State of California decided to foreswear any and all federal funds, they could, IMHO, open up state-funded Jerry Brown Schools of Scientology and Satanism and make attendance compulsory until age 45. However, since CA decided they want a piece of the federal pie, they have to toe the line. That's the deal.

The US Congress has become an unconstitutional and illegal entity that must be dealt with as any other criminal. The Constitution, and not Congress, is the law of the land.
