If one is shorting individual stocks it may be a different story, but for indices, holding a short over the long week end is at least as dangerous as holding a long position if not more.
Subjective fundamental interpretation of events is cloudy at best at this point to guess where we may go, it seems the best position at this time may be a neutral one, although I do think we will go lower at some future point.

someone is buying OSX stocks by the boatload. Probably Fidelity. The big guys always end up buying boatloads of cheap stock just when nobody is looking anymore.
