Looking at the 5min charts for OEX SPX NDX, volume has been overwhelmingly associated with upswings -- especially for NDX.

What does this suggest? Would someone with access to block-size data please confirm accumulation?

Thanks,
Alan

Lisa: I should have said, the following line is a little ambiguous, which can be misleading! The intraday is not just the theoretical. Both theoretical and actual are derived from intraday numbers, just two different sets of intraday numbers.

Favors said: Trendline is actually based on the intraday or so called "theoretical" highs and lows.

He should have said, the trend-line is actually based on the intraday theoretical lows and highs, as opposed to the intraday actual lows and highs of the index.

Nuff said! Dow Jones definition is now out there for everyone!
