The dollar will plummet when it looses its relative luster. That can happen much sooner than later. Our economy is built on the service sector and many services can be dispensed with when the need arises.
But, our legal, military, financial systems are world class. Taken together they are without peer. The dollar will rise again sooner than later.

notice " Luxembourg Central Bank confirmed it sold the bulk of its gold reserves."..again the announcement didn't counteract gold's rise..also Canada's latest announcement re selling gold also did not deter the market. interesting finally that their announcements aren't working :-)
