Jeffrey:

Nothing has fundamentally changed... Russia, Japan, Latin America, present are weighing heavily on the world markets... Regardless of the last minute buying, this was one of the biggest Dow point loss weeks ever... I think the market will head lower next week...

Jeffrey, re:trap

Dunno. My guess is for a BIG rally on Tuesday. (Of course, this assumes that we escape global catastrophy over the holiday.)

The action over the last two days (although unnatural) looks like buy-side interest with the market drifting due to lack of interest -- not dropping due to aggressive selling. (Perhaps, late day trading could have been short-covering prior to Labor Day?)
