O.K.....I'm holding CMGI calls, stock closed strongly on the money. also holding FP puts which closed at $20 -3 1/16 after being down to 18 5/8 forty minutes before close...should I have closed that out? I'm hoping to see it at $14 next week (their accounting does not add up, in fact the state of MI has issued a cease & desist). Anyway, Glad for you and me.....maby CMGI goes up, FP tanks and Gold goes up as Brazil goes down...(not my wishes, but watching CNBC all day gives you some perspective). Hi Mark, Five weeks ago I wanted to short some stocks. My Discover Brokerage firm(Formely know as Lombard brokerage) told me I had to apply for margin account which I did. Five weeks later I still don't have a margin account. The market has already dropped almost 40 to 50% of its 52 weeks high. I have lost the opportunity to short!? Have you had a better luck with your broker Mark?(jee, I hope you do). Any one has a good recommendation on brokers? I have heard that ETRADE are good? Any input will be appreciated. Christopher
