Wow ... that was a heck of a close.
I thought I checked DELL's price at about 2:00 or so Dallas time and it was about $105 or so. Very pleased to see run-up at close on an "everyone will dump because it is a 3-day weekend day." I think the most important recent development, and I strongly believe this, is that INTC is apparently nailing it, and not shy about telling the analysts, who are upping estimates. Gee, let's think for a minute ... INTC makes its best margins on high end chips, DELL sells mostly high end machines. Estimates for INTC are rising ... I have to believe this is hugely bullish for DELL. See y'all right back at $100 in a few months post-split.
