Mark, I can't tell the expected range next week, but since you're in,
you're doing better than most ALL investor who bought and held in
the last 52 weeks. The question is: when will all these people with
losses decide the pain is too much - and sell?

Of course there are others (Lester and Paul V., for sure) who bought MUCH lower than you did. They'll hang in.

Look at this volume-by-price chart:
bigcharts.com

You got a decent price.

Mark,
Monday the markets are closed. Unless there is some very bad international news there could be a short rally in the markets after
the holiday. I don't think it will have much/any affect on AMAT or the semi-mfg's. I think you should expect to hold the shares for
a prolonged period but the rewards will be very good within 2-3 years
or until a major upturn occurs in the semi industry fundamentals.

I think this is not a bad price, there may be more downside though
so be prepared and don't get discouraged. You might want to consider
dollar cost averaging if the price drops. With the prospect of
continued market volatility you might expect AMAT to vary +/-
$0.50 to $2 over the next several weeks or so. Don't expect any
sudden upsurge in the short term, IMHO.

Good Investing,
BB
