FUGAZI, that article is very suspect, and at the least is sloppily written. "the WH has an advance draft of Starr's report?" Very much doubt that one. Read the comments posted on the FR.com site, right below the article.

Besides, the Lincoln Bedroom, a room off the Oval Office, not a lot of difference. The LB might be more offensive to some, but the underlying acts, and the evidence of the massive and blatant efforts to obstruct justice, using the full weight and power of the Presidency: That is where the office has been soiled and the powers abused. Those are the impeachable offenses.

Fugazi:

Interesting article; I'm not surprised. Oval Office, Lincoln Bedroom... what's next, Independence Hall in Philadelphia?

Too bad the article lacks some credibility. For instance:

"The word from those who know is that will be the most salacious government report in history," said former congressman Robert Dornan, who gave up his seat to run for president.

Robert ("B-2 Bob") Dornan was defeated in the 1996 election by Democrat Loretta Sanchez. He did not "give up his seat to run for president," at least not president of the US.

BTW, there are some believable allegations that Sanchez won the election through criminal means (registering illegal immigrants). She won by a razor-thin margin; something like 400 votes in a Republican stronghold, Orange County CA.

I sure hope Starr's report is made available to the public so EVERYONE can see what a pair of weasels we've allowed to live in the White House for six years.
