I would love to see gold higher, because that would mean the Yen is also gaining strength relative to the dollar.

Gold can rise and the Yen and US$ can fall at the same time. In fact, the Yen can fall even faster than the $US while gold rises. This is the magic of fiat currencies. :o)

Don, you are joking again, right? It is no way yen will outperform any currency, even dollar with Japan fundamentals (World fundamentals)
the way they are....All currencies would go down if Gold would go above 500 as you seem to imply...
