Some time back, Bobby G. informed everyone on this board about an article in the August SMART MONEY which cited 5 companies who are takeover targets for Lucent come October. The table in the article showed their stock price as of 6/22/98. Here is the interesting summary: Company---June----Today---% Change ADTN------23 1/2--21 3/4--(-7.5%) AFCI-------38 3/8--6 3/8---(-83.4%) ADI---------23.69---13 1/4--(-44.1%) PAIR-------16 1/2--8 1/16--(-51.1%) XYLN------27.19---15.81---(-41.9%) What do you make of this?
