Janice is either a librarian from Italy who she claims to be, a CIA veteran, a broker from Georgia using the Italian ISP as a front, or a dangerous cocaine broker and rabid hitman from Vera Cruz. Then again an all night topless dancer at a club in St. Tropez has been advanced as well. There is a slim possibility she is a wheel chair bound epileptic who runs a bordello on the outskirts of Moscow but the absence of bad idiom would generally rule that out,( although the KGB people are very well trained.)

I don't know if her information is that good. For instance she asked me if a coal seam was a design accessory on gucci dresses this season.

Danny,

Pardon me for barging in, but you're wrong. Janice was spot on, from the start.

Too bad for you (and me) for not seeing the scam when she did. Her research skills are profound, and will certainly add more to what chances we may have for recovering our losses than an army of people like you. Too, before you engage her in a battle of wits, I strongly suggest an inventory of your armaments, because you are about to be sliced and diced, buddy.

If you really want to get to the bottom of this mess, fire off some correspondence to the addresses on the Scambusters List, but only after you do some reading at this link:

Looking back you had alot of information about this thing that only an insider could have known.

Sorry to disappoint once again, but I've never had access to any insider information, nor have I ever had a position in the ICVI/MTEI.

Go back and reread the early posts. I, jhild, Wireless, and other presented material taken from sources in the public domain, and used it to make what we considered to be logical deductions. No magic about it. By profession I'm a research scholar; I've had lots of practice at this sort of thing.

Since the SEC shut MTEI down I have talked with a number of the Players (Jack Uselton not included); I am, of course, interested in hearing all sides of the story, if possible. I didn't call them; they called me. I was also sent information by lurkers who didn't choose to post, or weren't SI members.

I don't know who the Big Bad Guy is, if indeed he exists. It seems that quite a lot of stock promoters and market manipulators were in on this one, and I suspect some of what happened was a result of their tripping all over each other's feet. And of course in addition to the promoters there was Jack himself: as I keep saying, I think we need to know more about his past, his offshore dealings, and what he's up to right now. Why did he set up a new company so quickly? What was the point? There must be one...
