Re MSVC++ 6.0 Libraries or a new MFC version, Sean, I can't check the 8/25 QP2.EXE because I trashed it.

I'm pretty sure that previous builds used VC for the Internet Downloader and Borland for the rest. Borl's scan-module uses OWL instead of MFC [can't get an OWE w/o OWL].

Hard to know what is happening under the 'Package for the Web' install [would be nice if he'd use the std InstallShield so I could see what's happening].
It won't let me install a pre 8/25 version of QP2 in a new NT partition even though there are no vestiges of previous installs to be found -- I've been dead in the water on that machine for 8 days.

And so it goes...

Bob
You have a point re the WB techs BTW -- one said I needed to update to sp_4 ;)

You were right on re 6.0 being the problem, Sean.
Though Gary said no problem with it if msie was installed, two of us running dual processors crashed even with msie. Maybe MS should reconsider multiple inheritance for MFC ;)
