To All: News from the Great White North I have been here all along but have not posted for several reasons. I have been to SOLV's lease several times but there doesn't appear to be any activity. I have talked to a few former SOLV workers and each claim that the process worked well. I understand that SOLV has several tanks of produced oil on site from their production. Personally I blame on-site management for most of SOLV's woes. They should have invested in a professional construction management company and controlled their on-site costs better. They bought too much old equipment and tried to show boat too much. There was an advertisement in last weeks Edmonton Journal Newspaper looking for Engineer-type workers to desigh Shell's new Commercial Oilsands Plant. Mobil Oil had a open house here in town and the word is that they are going streight to commercial production without a test facility. I have been to their lease but there doesn't appear to be much there. The road is blocked off so I didn't tresspass. Fall is in the air, Hunting Season is fast approaching. Jimmie.
