Russell, I'm looking at that perfect Double Top on Walmart and hearing that the American consumer will bring us through. People are saying the economy is great, but that is history and we all know past performance is not an indicator of future results -g- We've just come off a blow off top built on irrational goldilocks expectations, and now John Q. Money Manager is just starting to realize what has been painfully obvious to bears for some time now. This last sell-off compares to the October 97 cosmetically however under the hood things are much different now. Greenspan himself "the greatest economy in 50 years" and VERY short time later "global financial turmoil and Wall Street's volatility may hurt the U.S. economy" bb
