Another sophomore question. I have a lot to learn in this stock market business, I freely admit. Why isn't the specific information given to Gruntal, Bears etc. not considered inside information? The CC gave a general outlook on what effect the current situation would have at MRVC; Soon after, Zacks and Gruntal released very significant cuts in earnings projections that may or may not be available to individual investors. They obviously have had direct personal contact with management to obtain more precise data to arrive at their projections for earnings. (Probably by taking Noam out for his favorite type of Chinese food?) sorry for the sarcasm...I couldn't help myself I realize that my question is laughable among the professional's here and this practice is done everyday since the stock market started but if a professional or someone that is not as ignorant as myself about this issue, would be so kind and explain how this privilege is granted and obviously legal, I would appreciate it. Now, please, I am in no mood to be criticized that if I do not understand this issue I shouldn't be an investor in the stock market. Replies like this are not welcome here ...this time.
