Uh, Japanese banks are sitting on trillions in losses on bad real estate debt. And doing NOTHING about it-- the Ostrich Approach.

Hi Don:
"Asians in general are very conservative in their handling of money"
-how come so many love gambling..a former close Taiwanese friend and another American Chinese friend used to joke about it with me?(don't know about if that also happens in Japan..
-how come they bought US real estate at the high? and sell it at the lows?
-why are so very many of their banks in trouble?
-how come they bought at the highs at Sotheby's in the art market?
-how come they let their stock market be levered on bubbled real estate in Japan precrash..
Two of my nephews also worked in Japan and one continued to work for a Japanese company here for a few years. Another close friend worked at a Japanese bank here.. They left me with the impressions that all corporations are the same worldwide..workers around the world are becoming similar..safety nets in Japan are being ripped apart also..unlike before
How is little Japan resource poor going to deal with China and India
and the Koreas?
bobby
