Paul

This is probably the first time Fleckenstein has started making any money in years. I thought I read last fall he was close to broke...

The mrkt falls and people like him come out of the woodwork. Metz may even come back from retirement. Although he's still working he did say he was going to stop the predictions. ha

RE: Make his Fleckin' money back

Brokers make me pay interest and dividends to carry my shorts.
Also, you have to pay cash to mark to market. On Intel, that's a lot of real fleckin money, not just paper. It is always best to short by selling deep in the money calls, or buying puts or bearish put spreads. Then the credit premiums are yours to spent as you please, your potential losses are limited, and time decay on short calls works in your favor. Of course, I wouldn't do anything like this to Intel.
