Ole : Thanks for the info about the TSE Gold Index but, to tell you the truth, I've had a belly-full of tech analysis having been doing it for over 30 years and am still married to it. Today, I would much prefer to do less than more. Anyway, as I have demonstrated earlier with the gold price itself, the more one analyses anything the more one obtains different answers and the more confused one becomes. In the end, the simplest methods are probably the best --- like using a ruler to draw trendlines. The hard part, as I have learned over and over, is to believe what the ruler is saying! And then, to act . I have a friend who used nothing more than simple, pencil-drawn stock-price graphs on semi-log paper and a ruler. But, he understood what he was about. Perhaps he was lucky, too. He retired, a very rich man, after playing with that stuff for only 20 years.
