It's an early investor taking profits on a regular basis. I don't see anything telling about it.

If TMF has taunted you, explain to the board how and did you lose money on the short side on any of these pigs: Amazon, AOL, YHOO? Were they rubbing it in on the way up?

In a word, YES. Read TMFJeffs daily articles, and you just might be left with the same impression yourself. Or perhaps you might read the tauntings which appeared on this board of the few brave but badly burnt shorts who had voted with their money a little too soon, LIKE IN THE $100 PER SHARE RANGE TWO MONTHS AGO.

Zaxbowow is left with the distinct impression that TMF is hyping stocks in a self-interested manner, including via hyped boiler-plateless brokerage newswires in a manner that Zax feels is of questionable ethics and quite possibly of questionable legality. But don't take my word for it alone. Just read THIS: boards.fool.com

Perhaps one of TMF's own put it best (I'm still not sure whether he was joking or not) - TMFnicos Portion of excerpt in bold):

I think you're the new soldier that the Fool has sent out, to praise the Internet stocks. Amazn might be ahead of B&N, but like your founder said the other day, " their balance sheet sucks, so avoid it" Fool on. >>

You got it. One of us gets hit... they just send out another one. They're a cruel and unusual bunch at HQ. And don't think it's easy being a Fool foot soldier. Ah ah. You never know WHAT you'll step in next. If I ain't slipping in "Cheezy territory," I'm slogging through Taffy. Wouldn't be that bad, if only they'd stop deducting the cost of Fool shoes from our pay.

Now please don't get me wrong, as I am also of the strong impression that there in fact are a few staffers of TMF which refuse to act as pawns and in fact do provide legitimate and respectful analysis and commentary regarding stocks. I furthermore am of the impression that these few ethical staffers are placed at a severe disadvantage by management directive towards others.

Lastly, I would note that the clear "counter offensive" to the non-TMF based analysis provided by independent posters to this boards is in and of itself, organized and planned, and LACKS independence, as well. Take, for instance, persons who use the TMF amazon.com boards with reverse DNS addresses like 208-216-180-101.amazon.com. One might suspect that when such a person posts to this board, that the opinion you receive to counter the independent investors' thoughts posted here, well, lets just say MIGHT BE A LITTLE BIASED.

(Independant) Opinions, in response to this post would we very appreciated!
