Ike; If your intentions were to sell a few shares of Donner, why not sell them prior to announcing a drilling shut-down in July when the shares ranged between a $1.00 and $1.50. It was guaranteed the shares would drop with such a shock announcement or on the other hand, why would you sell shares late in August when your intentions are to start up the drill program again in early September. Something here is more than meets the eye. Donner's 52 week range was $0.34/share to $4.50/share. So it would be more than difficult to sell a batch of shares at $0.29/share?

Ike,

With respect to D. Patterson's selling of Donner shares in August

I figure the selling was motivated, for the purpose of his participation in Donner's recent private placement.(ie: 3 million unit offering @ $.30)

Note: There appears to be a mistake in the insider report related to Patterson's selling of 50,000 shares on August 21/98. The correct selling price should have read $.39 and not $.29.
