If the past is any guide, the cover of BusinessWeek has been a fantastic contrary indicator. In '82 they featured 'Death of Equity' on the cover just before DJIA rocketed 12 fold in the greatest bull market in history. More recently in summer of '95 it featured a high tech bull wearing a virtual reality glass. Well, that WAS the top for most tech stocks. Given what happened to internet stocks this week, one just have to be totally amazed by BW's incredible track record as THE MOST RELIABLE contrary indicator.
