Thanks, Clark, that worked -- Gary had sent a list of dlls to delete, but none of them were present.

Can I assume that you were bitten by the stop 21a bsod?
Appear to be a few out there because only two responded privately so far and neither of them had contacted qp.
I second one's comment that 'Maybe we could select a test pilot for the next update and let that person sound an "all clear".'

Please, everyone, e-mail me if you want in -- I'd feel a lot happier taking my chances as 1 of many poor souls.

I'll print up a list and let my dog mark the winner ;)

Bob

Clark,
Turns out that the 7-28 QP2 I now installed can't download because qp_net can't find WININET.DLL.
Wonder if there is a non-offensive way to tell it to look in %systemroot%\winnt\system32?
I also copied it to quotpl2 without joy :-(
The version I have is 4.72.3110.0 -- could you please check that that's what your qp sees?

Bob
