toy - I have been the lead on negotiations with Oracle, MSFT, Sun, and others. My contact at Oracle was Ray Lane. I would be very surprised if you have anything like my experience in this area. I am a little surprised that you would take a hard position when you have no idea with whom you are communicating. I am not a bit naive about who is taking note of what. And I am equally sure that the revelations of the last few months did not add anything to the knowledge base of the people who routinely deal with MSFT. It will hurt MSFT if the folks on the other side of the table can figure out how to use it for leverage, just like any other G2. If you were surprised by anything that has come out recently, than you are the one who has been out of the loop.
