You might have to draw us a picture before we get this one - do you mean 'off' or 'on' ... are they not antonyms, opposites ... are you aware that there are those who the practice of ending a sentence with a preposition up with do not put?

As to A.s.s. - 'Astute Stock Sleuth' - would you have a problem with that?
