OC, we've been over the question of Baker&Taylor's stock before. They provided
AMZN with "software and services" for which they were paid in stock. The transaction
took place long ago, before the IPO. Look in the early filings like the prospectus and you
will find the same number of shares that B&T recently sold reflected in the "Statement of
changes in stockholders equity" as being issued to pay for software and services. I think
they assigned a value to it at the time of issuance of $1.5 million or so. Good investment
for B&T as it turns out.

We did cover this. I agree with your statement about the IPO and the shares. It is the 10% ownership change that is unusual. I will locate the URL again that shows B & K owns 10% of Amazon. Later today perhaps.
