If you asked a broker who could really paint that barn fence you would get a reply of two brothers who are contemporary and who hang in the national. (their paintings that is!). The are semi realists with an impressionist feel a la Coleville. Their paintings are strangely empty of message. Their father was an illustrator whose work was seen in Harpers. Christina's World, a perspective with a crippled women in the foreground semi prostrate on a greensward and a cape cod house in the background is a well known painting of one of them.
