I don't see it that way. I'm assuming that at the time Bezos cut the deal with B&T before his IPO.
I don't think B&T gave him the books, they just got 5mil shares for giving him generous credit terms. I wonder what B&T gives B&N and Borders. B&N.com are expected to go public in the next few weeks.
I wonder if B&T will get 5mil shares in that deal?
I think I'd rather be a publisher of books rather than a e-tailer.
