What ever are you talking about, Julie?

"Why do I find it so ironic that a company involved in IR for major corporations would be so reluctant to share info, e.g., earnings, with their own shareholders???"

Are you referring to the earnings per share for the quarter and FY just ended? The FY ended barely a month ago ... the audit is in progress ... and they can't release the numbers until the auditors provide the signed off audit. How can you expect a company to share info which hasn't been compiled yet?

Or are you referring to the anticipated earnings to come? Company officials normally avoid commenting upon specific earnings figures. That is why you often see company officials responding that they "are comfortable with analysts's predictions" or words to that effect. An official who publicly states a specific future earnings figure is flirting with a lawsuit the instant that they miss that figure by any amount. A lawsuit would not be in the best interests of the shareholders. And since there are no analysts who cover TSIS, the company cannot even accommodate us to that extent.

Quite possibly it is precisely because TSIS is involved in investor relations (among other things) that they pay attention to such details.

JSb.

Well stated Julie.

JMT, this is the point I was trying to make. Their PR news was half baked, concocked(sp?), uninformative piece of inf. Their past financals do not have a darn thing as to what is transpiring at this given time, financially or fundamentally. For all we know, they are going broke, or they are raking it in. Investors were only given one small piece of the pie, (what they wanted to hear). Where are the rest of the stats? Long term investors aren't going to jump in, without all the facts. Value and momentum players, another story.

Good luck,
Gary
