At least Vermont's Governor's, head ,is out of the sand . Dean Pushes For Electric Cars - (MONTPELIER) -- Governor Howard Dean says the nation's major auto makers are NOT doing enough to put electric vehicles in the hands of consumers. Federal regulators have forced the manufacturers to produce electric cars... but the governor says they're not marketing the product to consumers. The state has been involved in testing the operation of several electric vehicles in cold weather climates.
