Not having much time to spend on the computer I decided to catch up on the GPM thread and found myself rapidly nexting through the thread with a Don, a retort, a Don, a retort, a Don, a retort, ........... The repetitious messages rapidly moving by created the right conditions - a somnambulistic trance state with an evoking stimulus of flashing lights - and voila I awakened several minutes later on the floor, having bitten my tongue and peed in my pants. I crawled back into my computer chair (after changing my pants of course)and when the postictal fog cleared I realized I had had a seizure. Not a pretty picture, for sure, but not my point. While lying on the floor with my body jerking in alternating flexions and contractions and my head banging on the, fortunately, carpeted floor I found myself outside myself watching my body convulse and wondering whether this was a real seizure or just an expression of GPM frustration. I quickly dropped this speculation because I found myself rapidly traveling down a dark tunnel toward a pinpoint of light. The vibration and exhilaration lasted only for a few seconds and I found myself at the end of the tunnel. Until it moves much higher and stays there the trend is not broken. don ---------------------------------------------------------------------- After being shown this vision, I found myself being sucked backwards through the black tunnel with the light from the computer screen becoming more and more distant and then being swallowed in the darkness. I awoke back in my sore and tired body and the rest was related above. An unfortunate experience for sure but in a way I feel somehow blessed. Think of all the seizures I can save myself by not having to read the GPM over the next ten years, and who knows maybe by that time a cure for my seizures may be found. R.J.
