update: OPEN ORDERS concerning split shares.. I discover Datek never "auto" update my order to sell concerning about DELL on Tuesday morning before the bell.. I canceled the original order and place a split price to sell before the bell.. So if anyone has similar situation w/ me... make sure to update your "open orders" if u r selling or buying on the day of the splits... just me.. eL... p.s. the last time I bad mouth DATEK due to slow order server system is about 3mos ago...things have improve significantly since then and its sytem demonstrate that they can handle heavy trading/traffic was tested last week "black monday" and tuesday rebound (last week also) ... I had very little problem during those times.. another tip and gripe: always check your "daily activites" since their email notification about your order is unreliable at this moment
